At Thomas Coen Jewellery, I specialise in designing and creating exquisite, one-of-a-kind high-end jewellery. Here’s an overview of the process that defines the Thomas Coen Jewellery Bespoke Experience:
The Brief (Design Consultation)
Your journey begins with a private, in-depth consultation where I take the time to understand your vision and the story you wish to tell through your jewellery. During this stage, I will guide you through the fundamentals of diamond and gemstone selection (if required) and present a variety of options for metals and design elements.
I will personally source exceptional stones from my extensive network of trusted suppliers.
This is also the time to discuss important details such as timelines, budgets, inspirations, and any special requirements to ensure we have a clear foundation for your piece.
The Design
Using the insights from our consultation, I will create a proposed design that captures every detail of your vision. You’ll have the opportunity to review and refine this design, ensuring it perfectly aligns with your expectations. I welcome feedback and adjustments during this stage and will continue refining the design until it is absolutely perfect.
Final Design Review
Once the final design is approved, I will provide you with a comprehensive quote, including terms and conditions. At this stage, a deposit is required to begin the next phase, which includes sourcing the highest quality materials, diamonds, and gemstones to craft your bespoke piece.
Handcrafting
The creation process begins as I handcraft your unique piece of jewellery with precision and care. Depending on the complexity of the design, this process typically takes between four to eight weeks. If a specific timeline was agreed upon during the consultation, I will ensure your piece is completed within that timeframe.
The Reveal
Once your bespoke jewellery piece is complete, you will be notified that it is ready for collection from my studio in Canberra. For interstate clients, your piece will be securely dispatched via registered post with a signature required upon delivery. I will provide you with tracking details, and rest assured, all items are fully insured during transit.
You will now hold in your hands a truly unique piece of bespoke jewellery—an enduring symbol of artistry, craftsmanship, and your personal story.
