BESPOKE EXPERIENCE
At Thomas Coen Jewellery, my focus is on designing and handcrafting exquisite and unique bespoke high-end jewellery.
This bespoke process, is a personalised and special experience. It is an absolute creative collaboration between the jeweller, the client and the yet untold story of the bespoke jewellery piece. It is also a collaboration between vision, emotion and art.
The following process assists you with the Thomas Coen Jewellery Bespoke Experience.
The Brief (Design Consultation)
The journey begins with an in-depth private consultation for me to understand your vision and to build the foundation of the story of your piece of jewellery. At this stage of the process, I will provide you with an understanding of the foundations of diamond and gemstone selection and present different options and metals suitable for your design. I will personally source your stone(s) from my extensive network of trusted global suppliers and provide a quotation in the days to follow.
It is also important at this stage to discuss other requirements including timeline, budget and any inspirations or other special requirements.
The Design
I will create a proposed design capturing all the information from the brief and send this to you to review. At this stage of the process, you can alter the design and I welcome the opportunity for any enhancements to ensure I have translated your vision correctly. I will continue to amend the design until we have perfected it.
Final Design Review
Once the final design has been agreed on, the final quote will be sent to you which includes the terms and conditions. A deposit is required at this time whereby I will source high-quality materials, diamonds and/or gemstones that are perfect for your precious piece.
Handcrafting
I will now commence handcrafting your unique bespoke piece. The creation process can vary from four to eight weeks depending on the level of complexity however, if a timeframe was agreed upon in the brief, I will ensure your special piece is completed by this deadline.
The Reveal
On the completion of your custom and unique piece of bespoke jewellery, you will be notified that it is ready for collection from my Canberra studio if you are based in Canberra. For my interstate clients, I will dispatch your special piece via registered post with signature upon delivery. Once dispatched, I will provide the tracking number. Please note all items are covered by insurance when in transit. You will now have your very own unique piece of bespoke Jewellery.
